CREATING A CALM AND TIMELESS RETREAT

Emily had the unique opportunity to sit in the client seat, starting from a blank canvas when designing her own home. Taking the house back to the brickwork, the main task was putting back all character into the property, carefully reintroducing ornate architectural details, from ceiling beading in the sitting room, to period cornice and mouldings throughout. The internal layout was completely reimagined and refined to the millimetre, ensuring a seamless flow for life as a family with young children. The style and aesthetic of the home embodies classic contemporary, with finishes and furnishings chosen carefully to complement the backdrop of the park behind.
